WHY USE THE OVERSIZE LOAD ASSISTANT?
The Oversize Load Assistant was developed by a team of oversize load permit agents. Because who needs to know oversize load and pilot car regulations better than those writing trucking permits for companies hauling oversize loads across North America? The Oversize Load Assistant includes 20 different oversize permit regulations categories and covers the United States and Canada. A few regulations include oversize load insurance regulations, oversize load frost laws, oversize load attachments and oversize load permit fees broken down by single trip and overweight only.
Additionally, the Oversize Load Assistant includes the Permit Calculator which is available as part of the premium monthly and annual subscription plans. This oversize permit calculator allows you to accurately calculate permit fees for any load just by entering dimensions and selecting the states you will travel through.
The Oversize Load Assistant is the most comprehensive online oversize load permit manual available, and is updated daily.

The Oversize Load Assistant has quickly become North America’s most used oversize load permit resource, and it’s used each month to write tens of thousands of permits and help carriers, brokers, dispatchers and owner-opertors move thousands of loads.
The online permit handbook includes three search engines for members to utilize based on individual preferences and load requirements.
Search Engine 1 will allow the user to search and view permit regulations for a specified State or Province.
Search Engine 2 will allow the user to search and view a specified permit regulation for all States and Provinces all at once. Using Search Engine 2 allows the user to see the specified permit regulation such as pilot car requirements for all States and Provinces on one screen.
Our Super Search Engine combines the regulations and agency search together. This allows a member to choose a specified permit regulation and filter it by an agency or agencies to view only the information they need for specific states or provinces.
The Oversize Load Assistant can be upgraded to include the Permit Calculator. The Permit Calculator allows our users to quickly and accurately calculate legal and overweight permit fees simply by entering load dimensions, selecting states the load will travel through, and in some cases, adding estimated miles traveled in a state. Once data is entered, The Permit Calculator provides a detailed estimate of permit fees. Members love it and are pleased with how accurate the results are!
