Wisconsin is hosting an international golf event in Kohler that will increase traffic and limit some oversize permit travel in the area from Friday, Sept. 17 to Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will limit permitting for oversize traffic on certain roadways during the 2021 Ryder Cup. The event restrictions will affect both single trip and annual/multi trip permits.

These restrictions will provide curfew periods. OSOW drivers are required to check the state 511 system (at 511wi.gov) prior to departure for the latest traffic/route updates. Look for the “Trucker Information” tab, where you can add various map layers regarding parking, restrictions, and special events.
