WCS Permits will attend and exhibit at the 2015 Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) Specialized Transportation Symposium March 3-6 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Ga.
The attendance at this year’s show will include over 440 specialized carriers, state and federal government officials, researchers, vendors and suppliers. This year’s participation is expected to surpass 2014.
On Thursday, March 5, the exhibit center will open from 11:30 – 2:30. Team WCS will showcase its online permit system for quick permit viewing and ordering, as well as other technology strengths in their Permit Attachments App and the Oversize Load Assistant.
With thousands of downloads on iTunes and Google Play, the free Permit Attachments App displays attachment info by state and Canadian province.
The Oversize Load Assistant is an online and mobile-friendly tool available by monthly subscription. Users are able to view extensive oversize load information by regulations, state or province and can find multi–state regulations in one search. Available regulation categories include annuals, frost laws, legal dimensions and weight, load attachments and permit fees.
Additionally, WCS is an event sponsor and will be recognized throughout the show and on the SC&RA event website.
Throughout the event, regional and state highway and transportation officials, such as SC&RA’s Permit Policy Committee and the Pilot Car Task Force, will meet to discuss issues facing the transportation industry.
