The Missouri Department of Transportation agreed to waive fees for oversize loads hauling hay.

Dry weather and feed demands are at the root of the decision by the Missouri DOT to waive oversize load fees through the end of the year.

Until December 31, 2012, there will be no fees for loads overweight or over-dimensional loads hauling hay. Holiday and any other travel restrictions will also be lifted through the end of the year.

Farmers can call WCS Permits to find out if their load meets the criteria to have any fees waived.
